I was cycling all day along the Mosel which is the border to Luxembourg but never touched foreign soil. But we went shopping for food on the day before in Wasserbillig which is in Luxembourg.

The swans are still hatching while the Nile geese already go on their first excursions as a family.

For lunch I was already in Perl and had a delicious meal at the restaurant Kelterhaus, directly at the Mosel cycle path.
Unfortunately, they are currently renovating the hotel, so they didn't have a room for me and I had to cycle up the hill for accommodation.

The good thing is, if I had stayed down in the valley, I would never had gone on the fantastic walk above Perl in the woods. It was so nice to have some alone time in nature after days with lots of people all around me - definitely, an introvert talking ;-).

In this picture you can spot three different countries:
On the left is France, straight ahead on the other shore is Luxembourg and I'm standing on German soil.
