- World-wide OpenSource cycle map (online & app): OpenCycleMap
- German long distance cycling path net (in German and English): Radnetz Deutschland
Cycling – Planning & Tracking Tools
- Naviki (online & app): offers different routes for everyday, leisure, MTB or race bike, routes can also be imported, exported and used on mobile devices
- Tahuna (smartphone app & navigation device): Good tool to track routes and for orientation (map) but I don’t like the planning functionality
- GPSies: great page to create, edit, import and export GPS tracks, also a huge shared database for GPS tracks
Cycling – local maps & planning tools
- Cycling route between Hamburg and Bremen (in German and English): Radfernweg HH_HB
- Cycling net North Rhine-Westphalia: Routenplaner NRW
- Cycling net Rhineland Palatinate: Radwanderland RLP
- Mosel cycling path: Mosel Radweg
- Neckar valley cycling route
- Kocher-Jagst cycling path
Accomodation:
- Staying in private homes instead in hotels: AirBnB
- Hotel booking portal: HRS
- mostly I use the local tourist information offices – very old school but just so convenient 🙂
